The City of Marion is requesting qualifications for Certified Building Inspection Services for commercial/industrial properties within the City of Marion, Ohio. These services will include the following: 1) Commercial/industrial plan review and approval for all new building construction, alterations, additions, and changes of occupancy; 2) Construction inspections to ensure the building and/or building systems are constructed in accordance with the construction documents; 3) Preliminary plan review and/or code guidance meetings while in the early stages of building design; and 4) Other activities necessary to enforce commercial / industrial Code within the State of Ohio.
The consultant will utilize specifications and guidelines in accordance with the Ohio Department of Commerce-Division of Industrial Compliance, Ohio Building Code, and any other applicable rules and regulations. Consultant will be provided with a work station, including a PC and phone.
Proposals should include a brief Statement of Qualifications that includes information on the firm’s history, education and experience of key technical personnel, the technical expertise of the firm’s current staff, availability of staff, and previous experience with other government agencies.
