Our Services

The Marion Senior Center offers its members a variety of services --- Members may have access to our information and referral services, transportation, free groceries, and social activities.

Information & Referral

A key component of the services that the Marion Senior Center provides is an Information & Referral program.

Are you looking for information about home-delivered meals, seniors transportation choices, home-repairs, homemaker, or personal care?  Call the Senior Center and we can provide you with names and phone numbers.  Whether you are looking for yourself, a friend, or a relative, the Senior Center can help provide information on a wide variety of services available for senior citizens in Marion County.  The objective of I & R is to link senior clients and their families with the proper agency and/or services.

The next time you need information about any issue relating to senior services, call the Marion Senior Center Information & Referral program at 740.387.6100 and let well-trained and informed staff point you in the right direction.  Help may be just a phone call away!

Specialists are available to answer questions over the phone concerning services and programs available. Referrals to other agencies are made.

Groceries For Seniors

The Marion Senior Center is proud to be partnered with the Mid-Ohio Food Bank of Columbus in providing free boxes of nonperishable groceries to seniors age 60 and over, who meet income guidelines established by the FoodBank.

The boxes are delivered to the Senior Center for distribution to qualified seniors once each month.  This valuable service helps many seniors who are on a fixed income stretch their food dollars and in turn help their general well being. We do have some open slots, please call to sign up.
