Welcome to the Marion Senior Center, where new friends and long-time friends gather for food, fun, and a host of other activities that will interest almost everyone!

The Senior Center has a "home away from home" atmosphere which makes everyone feel comfortable, whether they are here for the first time or have been coming out for years!

By coming to the Senior Center, you can enjoy any of the activities that are planned for the day, which may include exercise class, fitness room, many different dance classes, assorted craft projects, cards, billiards, travel, entertainment, hot lunches, and much more.

The Marion Senior Center is located at 2375 Harding Highway East, Marion, Ohio, in Kennedy Park, sharing a driveway with MARCA School and Industries.

The Senior Center is open Monday - Friday 8 am - 4 pm,
with occasional weekend and evening special events

Prestigious Award Recognizes Outstanding Volunteers

The Marion Senior Center is now accepting nominations for the ninth annual Pearl R. Roberts Award, recognizing outstanding community service by a senior citizen. Mrs. Roberts was instrumental in the development of the current Marion Senior Center facility, as well as many other programs and services for Marion area older adults.

Evening Hours Expanded to Include Both Tuesday and Thursday Beginning in March!

Due to popular demand, the Senior Center will add a second evening of extended hours. We will be open until 8:00 pm on both Tuesday and Thursday evenings, beginning in March.  Programs during this special timeframe will continue to target the Baby Boomer generation (individuals born between 1946 – 1964), but anyone age 50+ is welcome to join in the fun!

Our next Bingo Brunch will be held on Wednesday, March 20th at 11:30 am. This month’s menu features Corned Beef & Cabbage, Potatoes and Carrots. Tickets will be available for $4.00 at the Transportation Desk until Friday, February 15th. We also encourage you to join us for a fun afternoon of Bingo beginning at 12:30pm.

Join Bonnie McKee from Kindred Community for some Mental Health fun! We all know how important it is to exercise our bodies to stay strong and fit, but most people forget just how important it is to exercise your mind too! Everyone is invited to join Bonnie for a donut and some orange juice while having fun trying to answer trivia questions together.
This group is free and they meet in the front room.
