Summary of Proceedings from August 10, 2015. Mr. Cumston moved, Mr. Thomas 2nd. Roll Call: Ayes all, motion carried, Summary of Proceedings is accepted.

NEW BUSINESS:

RESOLUTION 2015-17:

PICK–UP RESOLUTION - EXISTING PICK–UP PLAN  - RESTATED RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MARION OHIO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

            Mr. Cumston stated that this came out of Finance with a 2-0 recommendation  for approval, motion to suspend,  Mr. Thomas 2nd; Roll call: Ayes all, motion carried.

            Mr. Cumston moved to adopt, Mr. Thomas 2nd. ; Roll call: Ayes all, motion carried. RESOLUTION 2015-17 IS ADOPTED

ORDINANCE 2015-73:

ORDINANCE ACCEPTING, RATIFYING AND APPROVING THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND FOP, OLC AS TO THE GOLD UNIT AND RATIFYING AND APPROVING THE C.B.A BETWEEN THE CITY AND FOP, OLC  AS TO THE BLUE UNIT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

            Mr. Cumston stated that this came out of Finance with a 2-0 recommendation for approval, motion to suspend,  Mr. Osborn 2nd; Roll call: Ayes all, motion carried.

            Mr. Cumston moved to adopt, Mr. Osborn 2nd; Roll call: Ayes all, motion carried. ORDINANCE 2015-73 IS ADOPTED

Matters not on the Agenda:

Mr. Sulu Kelley suggested that when someone comes and gets a Block Party permit – everybody that gets affected, gets notified.

Mr. Jerry Brown, 427 Clinton St. went on to say that he needs Council’s help in resolving a neighborhood dispute for the past 8 years. It has been in court back and forth. Fences, downspouts, rocks, concrete.  I don’t think I did anything wrong. I got no help from no one.
