Ayers Ratliff has been serving the 2nd Ward on Marion City Council since 2006.  Ayers and his wife Heidi were married in 2005 and have three children: Dusty, Del and Annie.  He is the Director of Racing Communications at Northfield Park, where he has worked since 2007.  Ayers is also a Tax Professional at H&R Block.  Ayers is a strong family man with deep roots in the second ward and is committed to the betterment of his ward and our entire City.

Josh is married to Danielle Daniels and is the father of three children, Bo, Lyra, and Della.

He is a self-employed real estate investor and home builder.  Josh served in the U.S. Navy from 1989-1995 as a petty officer.  He graduated from Elgin High School and Tri-Rivers Career Center in 1989. Josh later graduated from Marion Technical College in Real Estate in 1995 and then from The Ohio State University in 1999 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics & Finance.

Josh has served as a member of the Marion County Board of Elections and as a Marion County Commissioner.

While serving as the Chairman of Marion City Council’s Legislative and Codes Committee, Josh Daniels has introduced and passed legislation that improves protection of children against sexual predators, strengthened protections against incomplete demolition projects, such as the former AHP Factory and repealed several outdated laws, as they were no longer needed.

Todd is a lifelong resident of Marion, Ohio. He attended Oakland Elementary, Edison Middle School and  graduated from Marion Harding High School in 1999.  He received his bachelor degree from Urbana University, where he also played College Football. He received his Masters from the University of Dayton.

He has been a Marion City Schools employee for the last 14 years serving as a Social Studies teacher, a Football and Wrestling coach, administrator and most recently an Assistant Principal at Marion Harding High School.

Beside serving as the President of the Marion City Council, Todd is also the President of the Marion Young Professionals and also serves on the board of the Marion County Youth Foundation and is the 

Todd resides in the City of Marion with his wife Leslie, a Marion City School Board member, and his two elementary school aged daughters.
