Item 1.          (2nd time out of Committee) ORDINANCE 2015-11:   ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 620 OF THE MARION CITY CODE ENTITLED DISTRIBUTING OF HANDBILLS TO ADDRESS RE-OCCURRING NUISANCES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AS AMENDED (Legislation Codes 3-0)

 

Item 2.          ORDINANCE 2015-12:      ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE SAFETY DIRECTOR TO AMEND THE MASTER TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN BY PLACING STOP SIGNS UPON BAHAMA DRIVE AT EASY ST. GIVEN THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE ASSISTANT CITY ENGINEER IN RESPONSE TO THE DATA PROVIDED BY THE SAFETY DIRECTOR AND THE EXISTING NEED (Traffic Commission 7-0)(2ND Reading)

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

Item 1.          Ms. Evelyn Warr-Cummings of Regional Planning to present the 1st public hearing for all 2015 CDBG Grant programs available to the City of Marion.

 

Item 2.          ORDINANCE 2015-16:      ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE 2014-10 WHEREAS THE AQUATICS CENTER MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION IS IN NEED OF FURTHER REFINEMENT TO EXPAND THE PRE-SEASON MARKETING OF MEMBERSHIPS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY (Municipal Services 3-0)

 

Item 3.          ORDINANCE 2015-17:      ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 2014-10 WHICH CHANGED SALARIES FOR AQUATICS CENTER, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY (Municipal Services 3-0)

 

Item 4.          ORDINANCE 2015-18:      ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SERVICE DIRECTOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH HENDERSON PRODUCTS, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF A DUMP BODY WITH PLOW FOR THE STREETS DEPARTMENT AND WITH INTERNATIONAL FOR THE CHASSIS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY (Finance 3-0)

 

Item 5.          ORDINANCE 2015-19:      ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SERVICE DIRECTOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH UTILITY TRUCK EQUIPMENT, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 40’ AERIAL BUCKET TRUCK FOR THE STREETS DEPARTMENT AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY (Finance 3-0)
