ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE AUDITOR TO SET UP NEW FUNDS FOR THE TRACKING OF REVENUES AND EXPENDITURES ASSOCIATED WITH THE COLLECTION OF THE VOTED INCOME TAX AND THE CHIP GRANT STARTING WITH THE 2014 BUDGET YEAR
WHEREAS, the Auditor, by recommendation of the State of Ohio Auditor’s Office, is requesting five new funds be created to track revenues and expenditures associated with the collection of the voted income tax and the CHIP grant.
WHEREAS, this Council has determined by review all pertinent information that it is necessary and in the best interest of the City of Marion to authorize the Auditor to execute the approval of these funds.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Marion, Marion County, Ohio:
SECTION 1. The Auditor is hereby authorized to execute and create the following funds:
Fund 260 Police
Fund 265 Dispatch
Fund 270 Fire
Fund 253 Home Program
Fund 254 Ohio Housing Trust Fund
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
