ORDINANCE MAKING AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION WITHIN THE MARION LAND BANK FUND FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2013

WHEREAS, the City created the Marion Land Bank in order to address the recession of 2007 and the resulting nuisances in Marion neighborhoods, and
WHEREAS, the NSP program enabled removal and re-utilization of certain properties within the City's neighborhoods, and
WHEREAS, there is a need to take revenue received for the sale in the re-utilization process and permit same to be used for an intended purpose, to wit: maintenance of Land Bank properties which number approximately 25 lots,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Marion, Marion County, Ohio:

Section 1. That there be an appropriation within the Marion Land Bank Fund in the amount of $ 1,250.00 as follows:

LAND BANK FUND
Professional Services $ 1,250.00

 

Section 2. That this ordinance shall become effective from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
