ORDINANCE ADOPTED TO PROVIDE GREATER DETAIL IN REGARD TO GIS MAPPING RELATED TO ORDINANCE 2011-81 WHICH AMENDED MARION CODIFIED ORDINANCE SECTIONS 105.01, RESUBDIVIDING THE CITY INTO WARDS PURSUANT TO OHIO REVISED CODE 731.06, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, the Council for the City of Marion, Ohio did, pursuant to ORC 731.06 adopt the required redistricting Ordinance by way of Ordinance 2011-81, and

WHEREAS, as the process of incorporating the modifications into effect is now greatly more advanced given GIS mapping capabilities and technical advancements, all parties are able to have the maps reflect the actual legal boundaries, and

WHEREAS, the following modifications are necessary to more accurately reflect the legal metes and bounds property descriptions, such as utilizing the south or north lines of roadways as opposed to centerlines as that is more accurate as to legal boundaries,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNTY OF THE CITY OF MARION, MARION COUNTY OHIO

SECTION 1 THAT CHAPTER 105.02 THROUGH 105.06 OF THE MARION CODIFIED ORDINANCES NOW READING;

§ 105.02 FIRST WARD.

The First Ward shall be bounded and described as follows:

The Fourth Ward shall be bounded and described as follows:
