ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SERVICE DIRECTOR TO PREPARE SPECIFICATIONS AND ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS AND PROJECTS: CONCRETE, HIGH CALCIUM QUICK LIME AND THE TRANSPORTION AND DISPOSAL OF RESIDUALS FOR THE DIVISION OF WATER POLLUTION CONTROL AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, that the Service Director finds the need to purchase Conncrete, High Calcium Quick Lime and the Transportation and disposal of residuals for the Division of Water Pollution Control.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Marion, Marion County, Ohio:
Section 1. That the Service Director be and is hereby authorized and directed to prepare specifications and advertise for bids for:
• High Calcium Quick Lime, and
• The Transportation and disposal of residuals for the Division Of Water Pollution Control.
Section 2. That the cost of the Concrete and Quicklime shall be payable from the Sanitary Sewer Revenue Supplies 502.5003.5502 and Storm Sewer Utility Supplies 504.5007.5502. The Transportation and disposal Residuals will be payable from the Sanitary Sewer Revenue Prof. Services 502.5003.5402 and Storm Sewer Utility Sweeper Dirt Disposal Fund 504.5007.5448.
Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the welfare of the City of Marion and its’ inhabitants thereof: Due to the real and present need to move forward without delay given the urgency of the materials needed; and as such shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval by the Mayor, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, otherwise it shall become effective from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
