ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE AUDITOR TO APPROPRIATE MONIES TO THE COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS FUND RECEIVED BY THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF REHABILITATION AND CORRECTIONS FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2017

ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH SHELLY AND SANDS, INC. FOR THE 2017 STREET RESURFACING, PH. I, PROJECT 17-1R FOR THE CITY OF MARION, OHIO, APPROPRIATING NECESSARY FUNDS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

 

ORDINANCE TO VACATE A 16’ WIDE NORTH/SOUTH ALLEY BETWEEN 1083 AND 1085 WEST CENTER STREET (LOT #’S 6746 AND 4218) PURSUANT TO ORC 723.041 RETAINING PERMANENT EASEMENT RIGHTS (Applicant, Richard Collins)

 

 

ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE AUDITOR TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS TO THE COURT ASSISTANCE FUND RECEIVED FROM THE STATE OF OHIO FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2017

WHEREAS, the Court is requesting the Auditor to appropriate $16,850.00 to the Court Assistance fund for expenditures.

          BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Marion, Marion County, Ohio

Section 1.     That there be an additional appropriation made in the Court Assistance Fund in the amount of $16,850.00 for the year ending December 31, 2017 as follows:

 

ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE AUDITOR TO APPROPRIATE MONIES FROM THE COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS FUND TO THE PROBATION DEPARTMENT FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2017

WHEREAS, the Court is requesting the Auditor to appropriate $4,200.00 to the Community Corrections Fund for expenditures.

          BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Marion, Marion County, Ohio

Section 1.     That there be an additional appropriation made in the Community Corrections Fund in the amount of $4,200 for the year ending December 31, 2017 as follows:

 

ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE AUDITOR TO APPROPRIATE MONIES TO THE ADAMH FUND RECEIVED BY ADDICTION TREATMENT PROGRAM FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2017

WHEREAS, the Court is requesting the Auditor to appropriate $2,250.00 to the ADAMH grant fund for expenditures.

          BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Marion, Marion County, Ohio

Section 1.     That there be an additional appropriation made in the ADAMH Fund in the amount of $2,250.00 for the year ending December 31, 2017 as follows:

ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM THROUGH THE STATE OF OHIO’S COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG PROGRAM) AND TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO APPLY FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ALLOCATION FUNDS AND ADMINISTER THE GRANT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 1969-29, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE YARGER REPORT BY CREATING A POSITION WITHIN THE AQUATICS CENTER, SPECIFICALLY A SEASONAL HEAD LIFEGUARD/ASSISTANT AQUATICS MANAGER, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY         

          WHEREAS, Council finds it necessary to add a new employee at the Aquatics Center of a Seasonal Head Lifeguard/Assistant Aquatics Manager.
